吕嘉春,男,19672月生,医学博士,教授,博士生导师,现任广州医科大学国际教育学院院长兼对外合作交流处处长,为广东特支计划百千万工程领军人才、广东省千百十人才工程省级重点培养人才广州市121人才梯队工程后备人才、“羊城学者”首席科学家、呼吸疾病国家重点实验室PI、广东省高水平大学建设项目PI;任广州医科大学学术委员会委员、学位评定委员会委员、高水平大学建设工作领导小组成员、“协同创新”和“创新强校工程”领导小组成员;任中国抗癌协会肿瘤病因学专业委员会常委、广东省抗癌协会肿瘤流行病学专业委员会副主任委员、广东省流行病学会常委、中华医学会临床流行病与循证医学分会委员、广州市预防医学会副理事长、广东省分子流行病学重点实验室学术委员会委员、广东省热带病学会委员、广州抗癌协会理事;担任10英文杂志和4本中文杂志的编委等历任基础学院副院长、公共卫生学院副院长、曾兼任广州化学致癌研究所所长、预防医学系主任等职;2005年至2007年赴美国德克萨斯大学MD Anderson Cancer Center留学;2004年晋升教授,2006年成为博士研究生导师,2009年起招收呼吸疾病流行病学方向的博士后。

 

吕教授在肺癌与COPD等呼吸系统疾病的流行病学、易感基因、DNA损伤与修复,及生物统计学方法等领域有独特的创新;还拓展研究其他癌症的分子易感机制。研究成果以通讯作者或第一作者发表于Am J Respir Crit Care Med.(两篇), Am J Hum Genet., Hum Mol Genet., PLoS Genet., Human Mutat., Hum Genet., Clin Cancer Res. , Carcinogenesis(六篇), Mol Carcinog., Cancer, Int J Cancer国际著名刊物;以共同作者发表论文于Nat Genet., Lancet, BMJ, Gastroenterology, Cancer Res.等刊物。主持承担国家自然科学基金项目8项,在SCI收录期刊发表英文论文103篇,总影响因子IF >620,累计被引用6480余次,H因子35;发表中文论文100余篇,独立出版《肺癌分子流行病学》专著一部,申报国家发明专利四项,获广东省教学成果二等奖和广州市科技成果二等奖各一项;主讲预防医学专业本科《流行病学》、研究生《临床流行病学》、博士生《分子遗传学》、留学生《Epidemiology》;指导的研究生分别获得广东省优秀博士学位论文和广东省优秀硕士学位论文各一篇, 指导学生获广东省大中专学生科技竞赛三等奖一项,指导的6名研究生和3名留学生获得国家政府奖学金。

 

  吕教授领导的分子流行病学团队,有教授3人,副教授4人,在站博士后2人,在读的博士研究生3人,硕士研究生107人。研究方向可持续发展,长期与美国德克萨斯大学、美国国立健康研究院(NIH)和苏州大学等广泛合作,学术氛围活跃,研究经费充足,青年骨干成长迅速,欢迎有志青年加入。
